… we take privacy and data security seriously
your privacy and security are always considered in everything we do.
please review our privacy policy for full details.
your data, your privacy
Real estate businesses, like every other business, need contact information to market their business and maintain clients. We need to keep clients, and we need to find new clients. At times, we need to expand the people and households that we are able to communicate with – it’s how we stay in business.
New contacts come from many sources, with referrals being our preferred source. When you tell someone about your great experience with us, and that person contacts us with questions, it’s a valuable connection. We also meet people in the community through daily activities, Open Houses, and hosting community events.
We also might buy a contact list from a vendor that focuses on households we can best serve. We are open and honest about it. If we meet someone to help, we’re glad we did it.
We equally respect your choice if you don’t want to be on our list. We don’t get referrals by making people angry, and we understand that being contacted by people you don’t know can be a pain. We don’t want to alienate anyone. We want the name ‘calabash’ to feel good in your soul, and convey our expertise, generosity, and dedication to supporting you.
Protecting your data
As a business we have an obligation to safegaurd the data in our custody. At calabash, we collect Personally Identifiable Information, or PII. This means we have at minimum your full name.
In order to protect your PII, we lock everything down in a centralized database owned and managed by Keller Williams. They protect the databases with great care and fully understand the liability.
Please let us know
If you don’t want to be contacted, let us know. You can email, call, text, or stop us on the street. You can put it in the contact form at the bottom of the page. We will remove you from every type of communication you don’t want.
It’s an imperfect system, some numbers will make it past screening. Please accept our apologies and let us know so we can take corrective action.
